Dedicated School Staffing, in partnership with the Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West, is seeking a Long-Term Preschool Aide for Anthony Wayne Local Schools Preschool in Monclova Township, OH. The position is a long-term assignment with a full- or part-time schedule, starting at $14.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPI certification is preferred.
• Ability to follow teacher direction and stay patient.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in implementing educational program for students with disabilities per IEP.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to student needs.
• Maintain communication with teacher of record to implement IEP.
• Collect data to monitor student progress and complete required reports.
• Assist with classroom management and student behavior supports.
• Assist with crisis intervention when needed.
• Support daily activities (lunch, recess, transport) and supervise during teacher absences.
• Perform routine clerical tasks and help maintain the classroom.
• Lift and position students as needed; assist with care tasks.
