Absolutely, Positively, Kids! seeks a long-term pre-kindergarten substitute to support daily classroom routines, implement lesson plans, supervise students, and assist with progress documentation.

The role requires collaboration with staff, participation in professional learning communities, and flexibility for events outside typical hours; a background-friendly environment is provided for ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any capacity.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check.
• Ability to obtain a substitute teaching license.
• Ability to organize and manage your own time to meet responsibilities and deadlines.
• Experience with children and knowledge of classroom management are strong preferences, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Attend and support the daily activities outlined by the ECERS framework and official school calendar.
• Develop curriculum components and sponsor student activities as required by the center director.
• Collaborate with staff and administration, attend required meetings and professional learning communities, including after-hours events.
