Albert Lea Area Schools is seeking a Paraeducator - Long-Term Replacement at Southwest Middle School. The 0.9 FTE position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.83. Begin date is pending; the role supports student learning under general supervision.

Candidates with 2 years of college or Para Pro (460) and the ability to work in a team are preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is also preferred; earned sick leave is included per district policy.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass local Academic Proficiency Exam or have taken at least 60 hours semester credits at post-secondary level.
• Preferred experience working with children of differing abilities.
• Preferred experience working with individuals with emotional, behavioral learning challenges, learning differences, and functional skills needs.
• Must possess good organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team approach.
• CPR and First Aid training / certification preferred.
• Educational qualifications: Equivalent of 2 years of college (AA degree) or passing score on Para Pro (460).
