Job summary

Thompson Middle School and Ferson Creek Elementary in District 303 are seeking an Occupational Therapist as a Long-Term Substitute from 10/1/26 to 1/4/27 (dates approximate). You will deliver direct OT services to students under supervision and develop plans aligned with IEP goals.

The role requires a Master’s in OT with NBCOT certification preferred; licenses and background checks as required by district policy. Substitute rate applies at $220/day for long-term substitution.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• NBCOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the direct supervision of a district occupational therapist, including screenings, evaluations, and delivery of interventions.
• Develop OT intervention plans and programs for students that align with IEP goals focused on sensorimotor needs, participation, and engagement.
• Select and provide OT interventions such as facilitating motor skills, sensory integration, play skills, social participation, and use of assistive technology, as outlined in student IEPs or intervention plans.
