Job summary

Sisters-of-Providenc is seeking a long-term substitute Math teacher for November 2026 through June 2027 in our STEMM department. You will teach Geometry Honors, Algebra 2/Trig Honors, and Algebra I Honors on a full-time schedule from 8 AM to 4 PM, on campus in California.

The role requires planning, delivering high-quality lessons, and fostering an inclusive classroom that emphasizes critical thinking and student growth within the school’s values of dignity and excellence.

Qualifications

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom that promotes participation and critical thinking.

• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Geometry Honors, Algebra 2/Trig Honors, and Algebra 1 Honors courses.

• Maintain a respectful learning environment and accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Attend required daily on-campus schedule, 8 AM–4 PM, Monday through Friday.
