Science Academies of New York (SANY) Utica Academy of Science Charter School is seeking a Long Term Lead Substitute Teacher for grades K-5. The role emphasizes engaging lesson plans, collaboration, and data-driven instruction in a dynamic urban setting.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, NYS certification preferred, and experience with diverse student populations. Master’s degree and fingerprint clearance are also preferred; novice teachers are encouraged to apply.

SANY’s Utica Academy of Science Charter School's Elementary School is excited to announce openings for a Long Term Lead Substitute Teacher (Grades k-5).

As a result, we are looking for dynamic and creative Teachers. We have a great environment for new teachers and encourage experienced teachers to apply!

Compensation:

New York State Certification preferred.

We need Teachers who will:

• Provide engaging lesson plans the conform to the charter's curriculum
• Collaborate with staff to determine charter requirement for the instructional goals, objectives and methods
• Be ready to prepare students for the standardized tests relevant to the content area
• Have excellent content knowledge and pedagogy
