KIPP Memphis is seeking Substitute Teachers for elementary and middle schools in Memphis, TN. This full-time, non-exempt role supports teachers by coordinating lesson plans, preparing materials, and assisting students in small groups to ensure understanding and progress.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or 48 college hours plus 2 years of teaching experience, along with Tennessee licensure and strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Effectively communicate and coordinate with the instructor to assist daily lesson plans.
• Aid in preparing materials for projects, including art and science.
• Provide individual assistance to children in small groups to ensure understanding.
• Strictly adhere to school rules and policies.
• Ensure the safety of students in class, on field trips, and around campus.
• Assist teachers in reviewing, grading and recording homework and tests.
• Monitor and assess student progress and identify those needing one-on-one support.

Bachelor's Degree / 48 college hours + 2 years teaching experience

Tennessee state licensure
