Qualifications

• Have 2+ years of classroom experience as a classroom teacher.
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in an education-related field.
• Have a California Teaching Credential (preferred).
• Experience with Google Classroom, G Suite, and other LMS (a plus).
• Possess a love of learning and a passion for engaging students.
• Have experience differentiation for diverse classroom learners.
• Be a collaborative team member who will seek advice from peers and rely on the professional expertise of our administrators and support services.
• Experience with independent schools is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide an instructional program based on the needs of each student.
• Implement our school adopted programs as the base curriculum for the grade.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and other teachers.
• Differentiate effectively for diverse learners in the classroom.
• Assess students learning frequently and effectively to ensure grade level standards are being met.
• Document student learning and report home frequently on assessments and progress.
• Utilize multi-modal methods of instruction.
• Attend staff meetings and fulfill other duties assigned by the Assistant Head of School.
