Job summary

Qualifications

Certification/License: MN Teaching License Required - Elementary Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education
Masters degree preferred
Successful prior teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develops and administers school elementary curriculum aligned with district goals.
Creates a safe classroom environment conducive to individualized and small group instruction.
Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates plans into learning experiences.
Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and adjusts teaching methods accordingly.
Communicates progress to students, parents and administration.
Maintains accurate records of grades and attendance following district procedures.
