Qualifications

• Must have staffing coordinator experience in long term care.
• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED.
• Computer knowledge required.
• Experience in long term care with scheduling, HR and payroll.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and post schedules for nursing department, track changes, approve trades.
• Maintain records of call-outs, late and early arrivals; coordinate attendance policies with HR.
• Monitor daily attendance and overtime; minimize overtime.
• Coordinate with agency staff to cover open shifts as a last resort.
• Provide accurate reports to the DON regarding staffing, vacancies or agency use.
• Maintain PTO/change requests records; assist payroll processes.
