Job summary

Ascension is seeking a RN to provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents at Via Christi Village McLean in Wichita, Kansas. You will implement and monitor individualized care plans and coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

BLS Provider within 30 days of hire. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse licensure required before hire date or transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents in accordance with established clinical standards.
Implement and monitor individualized care plans, documenting and communicating changes in condition.
Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to carry out orders and ensure seamless care.
Promote resident safety and support effective discharge planning.

Education

BLS Provider certification

Registered Nurse licensure

Nursing diploma or equivalent licensure
