Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Registered Nurse with a Long Term Care focus to join our Acworth, GA team in a permanent, on-site role. You will deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and care-planning skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care practices and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, organization, and time-management skills.
• Current Basic Life Support certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care tailored to residents.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and monitor changes.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and document responses.
• Support chronic disease management, wound care, and infection prevention.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per facility policies.
• Educate residents and families about health conditions.
• Guide and support nursing assistants and delegated tasks.
• Respond to urgent situations and ensure safe care transitions.
• Champion resident rights, safety, dignity, and quality improvement.
