Thrifty White Pharmacy in Cloquet, MN is hiring a full-time Long Term Care Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in processing prescriptions and maintaining patient profiles. You will assist pharmacists with order processing, labeling, and ensuring accuracy across batches while supporting facilities with refills, authorizations, and payer communications.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain accurate patient profiles including medication, insurance, contact, and allergy information.
Assist Pharmacists in processing medication orders and ensure correct labeling and batching.
Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain payment for claim rejections or underpayments.
Coordinate with prescribers for refill authorizations and prior authorizations.
Support long term care facilities and ensure their needs are met.
Assist in filling, labeling, and inventory management using JITI system.
Maintain compliance with attendance and safety requirements.
