Job summary

Boomer Solutions of Tulsa, a member of the Guardian family of pharmacies, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and facilities in Tulsa, OK. The role involves handling profiles, eMar procedures, and coordinating with prescribers to maintain resident prescriptions.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, Pharmacy Technician certification, and 1+ year of related experience. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 1+ years of related experience in a pharmacy setting; advanced degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain facility profiles in QS1 and create new admit profiles; communicate with facilities for resident/facility data.
• Develop and maintain relationships with facility staff; route service issues to marketing and operations for resolution.
• Create and implement Standing Orders or MAR print options; customize QS1 options.
• Understand eMar procedures and troubleshoot issues with customers across platforms.
• Work with prescribers and facility staff to maintain active prescriptions for residents.
• Update monthly MARs and PO’s for facilities.
• Communicate with facilities about prescription interactions and resident profiles; document resolutions.
