Job summary

GRX Holdings, LLC is seeking an efficient Pharmacist to lead the Long-Term Care team as Pharmacy Manager at our Waterloo location. This role emphasizes high-quality patient services, compliance, and supervision of Pharmacy Technicians, with hours 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and no Saturday or Sunday shifts.

Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, counseling patients, and ensuring regulatory adherence while supporting operations across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license for the states served.
• 2–4 years of related experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions, check interactions and allergies, enter data into the system.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and verify work for accuracy.
• Counsel patients, residents, and caregivers on medication use and expectations.
• Consult with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and compliance with laws.
• Maintain professional service standards across multiple locations and teams.
