Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, is seeking a Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Monte Vista, Colorado. The RN delivers patient care in Long Term Care and/or Assisted Living facilities, demonstrating clinical judgment and coordinating care with supervision.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in the practice state and current CPR, with TB screening or chest X-ray as applicable, plus a health certificate.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Long Term Care RN assumes responsibility andaccountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long Term Care and/orAssisted Living Facilities. The nursedemonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficientmanner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilitiesin the coordination of patient care.Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standardsand is accountable for managing patient care and assisting others in themanagement of patient care.
