Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Long Term Care LPN for a 13-week travel assignment with a high probability of extension. The role requires 2+ years of LTC/LTAC/Rehab/Med Surg experience and an MA RN License, plus current LPN license and BLS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of LTC, LTAC, Rehab, or Med Surg experience.
• MA RN License
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS card
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical specialty area(s) with a score of 80%+
• Successful completion of Background Screening Process

Responsibilities

• Deliver care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility.
• Make clinical judgments with supervision and demonstrate critical thinking.
• Coordinate patient care and assist in managing patient care.

Duration: 13 Week Assignment with high probability of extension

Requirements: 2+ years of LTC, LTAC, Rehab, or Med Surg. MA RN License

The Long Term Care LPN assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS card
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical specialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater
• Successful completion of Background Screening Process
