Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Long Term Care LPN for travel assignments in Columbia, MD. The role supports the care team in delivering patient care within a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility.

The nurse will apply clinical judgment, coordinate care, and perform duties under supervision while adhering to nursing standards. Must have an active LPN license and BLS, with background checks completed.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical specialty area(s) with a score of 80% or greater.
• Successful completion of Amergis Background Screening Process.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Location: Columbia, MD

The Long Term Care LPN assists the care team in the deliveryof care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility. The nursedemonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficientmanner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilityin the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state inwhich the nurse practices

• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

• Current BLS card
