Job summary

DiningRD is seeking a registered dietitian to consult for multiple assisted living communities. The role involves quarterly onsite visits to perform food safety audits, dining observations, and nutrition referrals for high-risk residents.

You will collaborate with clinical teams and mentor dining staff to maintain regulatory compliance and high nutritional standards. This position offers flexible opportunities and competitive pay based on experience, with a professional network of RD colleagues

Responsibilities

• Improve the nutritional quality of meals for seniors by ensuring high standards.
• Collaborate with clinical team to monitor residents' nutritional needs and conduct nutrition assessments.
• Provide nutrition education and assist with MDS and nutrition planning.
• Guide dining services on menu planning, sanitation practices and regulatory compliance.
• Train and mentor dining managers and staff and support policy development.
• Monitor implementation of effective nutritional care systems across sites.
