Qualifications

• Three years of experience in areas related to long‑term care or nursing home administration and one of the following.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Gerontology, Healthcare Administration or Long Term Care Administration
• License as a Registered Nurse or Long‑Term Care Facility Administrator with Bachelor's in health services

Responsibilities

• Conduct state licensing surveys according to state protocols, guidelines, and time frames.
• Review facility survey history, complaint investigation reports, and data reports.
• Observe residents’ quality of care and life, including staff interactions, nutrition, activities, and environment.
• Interview residents, families, and facility staff.
• Review resident medical records and facility policies and procedures.
• Evaluate conditions using state guidelines to validate findings of potential non‑compliance.
• Perform on‑site inspection of long‑term care facilities, including kitchens.
• Write findings reports with designated software.
