Job summary

North Auburn Care in Auburn, WA is seeking a Business Office Manager to oversee admissions support, Medicaid coordination, PCC payer source updates, AR/Collections, and resident trust management. You will also handle incoming calls and manage billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.

The role requires prior long-term care experience, billing expertise, and strong organizational skills to operate autonomously in a busy facility environment.

Qualifications

• Long term care experience in AR/admissions or business office preferred.
• Billing experience with Medicare/Medicaid and other insurances required.
• Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare processes required.
• Ability to organize, plan and work autonomously.
• Education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Admissions Director with admission paperwork and filings.
• Coordinate Medicaid paperwork with residents.
• Coordinate and implement payer source changes into PCC.
• AR and collections tasks.
• Manage Resident Trust accounts.
• Answer and transfer incoming phone calls; support billing tasks.
