Job summary

Kindred Hospital East New Jersey is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with the patient and family.

Responsibilities include discharge planning, coordinating with physicians and staff, documenting assessments and care plans, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN from an accredited program.
• Active NJ RN license with BCLS certification.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care via the nursing process.
• Develop and coordinate patient care plans with family and staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and team.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Document assessments, plans and care in medical records.
• Administer medications following five rights.
