Job summary

Pine-Richland School District is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Second Grade Teacher for the remainder of the 2026-27 school year. Location: Wexford Elementary School. Compensation: $277/day with access to health, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage at the individual level.

The assignment begins mid-late October 2026 and lasts through June 2027. Responsibilities include delivering instructional program, assessing progress, and maintaining records in line with district policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelors' or advanced degree from an accredited institution with student teaching experience.
• Minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale demonstrated through academic achievement.
• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Level I or II or Emergency certificate; clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a program of study based on the curriculum.
• Establish a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assess student progress regularly and maintain records.
• Teach the district-approved curriculum and participate in reviews.
• Support students with IEPs in collaboration with staff.
