Job summary

Estes Express is seeking Line Haul Extraboard Drivers to move freight between Estes Service Centers. You will be away from home for about 5 days per trip, operating various equipment safely and complying with FMCSA rules.

The role includes use of in-cab technology, uniform provision, lodging during assignments, and eligible bonuses. Average duties include pre/post-trip inspections, maintaining logs, and delivering professional customer service under varying road conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center or work assignment.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements are required.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer to transport freight per FMCSA rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Comply with safety rules, regulations and company policies.
• Maintain required records and use in-cab tech as needed.
• Provide professional service to customers and meet deadlines.
