Job summary

US3090 Sygma Illinois (The Sygma Network, Inc) seeks a Long-Haul Truck Driver to transport products from the warehouse to customer locations across PA, FL, OH and other states, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to company standards.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience; duties include DOT logs, food safety, and building strong customer relationships on overnight routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED, plus 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor-trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to, a high school diploma.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to the customer location and ensures timely delivery according to route and specifications.
• Records paperwork per company and governmental guidelines (DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports, invoices).
• Maintains proper food safety temperatures in delivery vehicle.
• Adheres to safe work methods and reports unsafe conditions to management.
• Operates equipment and handles pallets, load bars, and carts; communicates with customers clearly.
• Builds good customer relationships through courteous service and reliability.
