Job summary

ABF Freight, part of ArcBest, seeks an experienced driver for long-haul routes. You will couple/uncouple trailers, perform inspections, and handle pickup and delivery of cargo across destinations. The role involves varying shifts, travel 75%+ and weekly pay with comprehensive benefits.

Minimum 1 year tractor/trailer experience is expected; training may be available for less. A Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements is required, along with a clean MVR and DOT medical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience; training possible for less.
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements required.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Couple and uncouple trailers from tractors.
• Drive for extended periods as needed.
• Perform check-in, inspections, and set up for pickup/delivery of cargo.
• Duties may vary by terminal location.
