Job summary

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking road drivers responsible for pickup and delivery of cargo trailers to long-distance destinations. You will couple/uncouple trailers, drive extensively, inspect equipment, and perform related tasks.

Duties vary by terminal location and shift, including nights and weekends. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (training possible), and a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazmat

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (training possible).
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Minimum 21 years of age and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coupling and uncoupling trailers from the tractor.
• Driving for extended periods.
• Check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, setup, and pickup/delivery of cargo.
• Duties may vary by terminal location.
