Job summary

MemorialCare's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Long Beach, CA seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our nights team. The RN will provide safe, family-centered care to critically ill infants using the nursing process, with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Required are a California RN license, BLS/CPR, NRP, BSN, and graduation from an accredited program. In addition to base pay, MemorialCare offers a $20,000 signing bonus for external hires, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in an acute care hospital.
• California RN license required.
• AHA CPR & AED certification required.
• AHA NRP certification.
• BSN degree required unless waived by NEC review.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program (ACEN/CCNE) or NEC approval.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, cost-effective patient care to neonates using the nursing process.
• Deliver care in the NICU within MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize infant outcomes.
