Job summary

Jackson-Dawson in Long Beach, CA seeks a skilled Exhibit and Display Carpenter to join our fabrication team on a project basis. You will help create high-quality custom displays for live events, trade shows, auto shows and branded activations, turning drawings into tangible builds.

The role requires finish carpentry experience, comfort with shop equipment, physical stamina, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while collaborating with designers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Finish Carpentry, Cabinetry, or Auto Show/Trade Show fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and renders with high accuracy.
• Strong math and measurement skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort operating industrial shop equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom displays, scenic elements, cabinetry, and branded environments.
• Interpret and build from drawings, blueprints, renderings and shop plans.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers and fabrication teams to meet client expectations.
• Operate industrial shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high quality standards and meet tight deadlines.
• Support onsite installation and dismantle of displays when required.
