Ryder System, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Permanent Full Time Welcome Center Clerk to manage the arrivals and departures of vehicles at the welcome center, including logging activity and coordinating with drivers.

The schedule covers Sunday to Tuesday 4:00 PM–4:00 AM and Wednesday 4:00 PM–10:00 PM, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The position offers weekly pay with a base hourly rate of $24.00 plus an additional $2.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in freight coordination / scheduling / planning.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Positive attitude and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Welcome Center attendant log of arrivals and departures of vehicles.
• Check all inbound and outbound seals on vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with management on welcome center issues.
• Interact with drivers and visitors in a polite, professional manner.
• Follow SOPs for checking in and out freight.
• Monitor CCTV equipment and notify management of events.
• Operate equipment as required and obtain certification if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
