Job summary

DO & CO AG in New York is seeking a motivated Warehouse Helper to support daily warehouse activities. You will receive deliveries, manage inventory, and ensure accurate packing, labeling, and documentation for airline orders.

Responsibilities include processing cargo, organizing stock, and assisting with monthly counts, while maintaining safety and efficiency. This role requires forklift certification and a proactive, team-focused mindset in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of warehouse or related experience required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Proactive, dependable, and well-organized.
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of managing a substantial workload while meeting strict deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and responding to operational needs with urgency.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving products or supplies.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process airline purchasing deliveries, verifying all items against invoices and delivery documentation.
• Collect and process incoming air cargo shipments and sea containers.
• Prepare and maintain accurate paperwork for equipment and beverage packing according to company guidelines.
• Pick, organize, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with scheduled monthly inventory counts and monitor stock levels.
• Identify low-stock items, shortages, excess inventory, and other discrepancies, and promptly notify the supervisor.
• Organize airline requisitions according to instructions provided by Warehouse Management.
• Load and unload designated vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure drivers receive the correct flight equipment and beverages on time.
• Keep products separated, organized, properly stored, and rotated.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company procedures related to storage, warehousing, product handling, and workplace safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management based on operational needs.
