Crest Hill, IL-based St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Logistics Warehouse Security Officer for a 3rd shift at a busy warehouse and distribution facility. You will protect people and assets, monitor access, patrol indoors and outdoors, and respond to incidents while maintaining detailed logs.

Requirements include Illinois 20-hour security training, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Illinois 20-Hour Unarmed Security Training Certificate.
• Previous security experience, preferably in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or industrial settings.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; MVR check required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods indoors and outdoors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, calm and dependable in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
• Ability to accurately document activities and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access for employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of warehouse floors, storage areas, yard space, and docks.
• Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance systems.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, alarms, or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, visitor/truck entries, and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with staff, management, and incoming officers during shift hand-offs.

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
