Job summary

UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics is hiring a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations, inventory tracking, and logistics workflows. You will collaborate with transportation partners and internal teams to prepare, process, and track shipments while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will monitor shipments, coordinate with carriers, and manage packaging, equipment, and documentation to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operations Support: Support daily warehouse operations and coordinate closely with logistics and operations teams on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Shipment Monitoring: Utilize technology and tracking software to monitor, manage, and control shipment movements and delivery statuses.
• Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics service providers, carriers, and regional branch facilities to schedule and arrange efficient shipment solutions.
• Packaging & Equipment Preparation: Prepare, assemble, and manage specialized packaging, temperature-monitoring equipment, and tracking devices according to SOPs.
• Dispatch & Fleet Coordination: Coordinate and dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries, verifying adherence to schedules and proper documentation.
• Regulatory Compliance: Assist with regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance for all domestic, import, and export shipments.
• Carrier Booking: Book freight shipments with airlines and third-party logistics providers to determine optimal routing and cost efficiency.
• Freight Handling & Storage: Ensure proper storage, handling, and staging of goods within the warehouse facility.
• Packing & Labeling: Label, package, and stage shipments for export/dispatch; meet dispatch cut-off times.
• Data & Inventory Entry: Maintain entries in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) documenting milestones (departure, transit, arrival, customs clearance).
• Communication & Pre-Alerts: Issue pre-shipment alerts to destination facilities and service partners with confirmation of receipt and instructions.
• Inspection & Tracking: Perform pre- and post-dispatch checks and follow up with transport agents on delays.
• Escalation: Escalate issues to warehouse management promptly.
