Job summary

April Quest Ltd is seeking an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Manager to lead warehousing and global shipping operations for a prestigious client in the audio equipment sector.

You will drive safety, process improvements, and cost efficiency, leveraging ERP systems such as Epicor or SAP, and ensure compliance with IATA, DOT and DG rules while mentoring a skilled logistics team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in domestic and international shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and dangerous goods compliance.
• Hands-on ERP experience for inventory management (Epicor, SAP).
• Proven leadership experience managing logistics and warehouse teams.
• Continuous improvement mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse and logistics personnel while driving performance, safety, and operational excellence.
• Manage domestic and international shipping, receiving, customs, and transportation activities, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and dangerous goods regulations (IATA, DOT, lithium-ion batteries).
• Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage optimization, material flow, ERP transactions, and inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation, track supplier shipments, verify supplier invoices, and coordinate customer/supplier returns (RMA).
• Develop and improve logistics and warehouse processes, build carrier relationships, and manage freight costs to enhance efficiency and service.
• Monitor logistics and warehouse performance metrics, support HTS classification and brokerage activities, and perform other duties as assigned.
