HomeGoods Distribution Center Bloomfield, USA, is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to manage day-to-day execution of the transportation function with internal and external partners. You will monitor shipments, expedite movements, and support timely deliveries to stores while upholding operational standards.

The role reports to the Transportation Manager and offers growth opportunities through IDP, mentorship, and cross-functional exposure.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Analytical skills to identify trends and forecast.
• Excellent written and oral communication with all levels of management.
• Solid organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Great attention to detail and customer service mindset.
• Proficiency with transportation, warehouse and yard systems such as Blue Yonder (JDA).
• Flexibility to support business needs with schedule.

Responsabilités

• Support crossdock and store deliveries with shipping plans.
• Deliver operational performance against KPIs and budgets.
• Execute peak season plans to meet business needs.
• Assist Transportation Manager in staffing, auditing, and inbound/outbound duties.
• Coordinate with field leadership, store ops, loss prevention, and providers.
• Plan truck capacity and ensure adequate power/trailers.
• Maintain smooth inbound/outbound movements for timely store deliveries.
• Provide training to peer Transportation Coordinators as needed.
• Audit yard management system for carrier accuracy.
• Develop Transportation Management System configurations to drive efficiency.
• Maintain TJX transportation and logistics master data.
• Support outbound transportation projects and SOP creation.
• Handle miscellaneous outbound shipments and detentions.
• Produce daily trend reports for senior leadership.
