Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Logistics Operations Associate in Indianapolis, IN to support World Courier logistics and storage services. The role focuses on order fulfillment, shipment coordination, data entry, and issue resolution to ensure timely delivery and service continuity.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in logistics, a high school diploma or GED (an associate degree preferred), and may hold CSCP/CLTD/CPIM certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED; related experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Associate's degree in logistics or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics operations, transportation coordination, shipment tracking, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment – stocking, restocking, picking and packing, and outbound shipping of customer orders.
• Coordinates shipment movement activities with internal teams, network offices, agents, airlines, and service partners to support timely transit and delivery execution.
• Processes shipment data, status updates, and operational records in applicable systems to maintain accuracy, traceability, and shipment visibility.
• Monitors active shipments and communicates delays, exceptions, and routing issues to relevant stakeholders to support timely resolution and continuity of service.
• Verifies shipment documentation, tracking details, and transaction records to support compliance with transportation requirements and internal procedures.
• Maintains information flow across customer service, operations, and transportation partners to support aligned execution and responsive issue handling.
• Reviews operational trends and recurring shipment issues and provides recommendations to improve workflow, service consistency, and data accuracy.
• Supports daily coverage of transportation and customer service activities to sustain operational continuity across scheduled service periods.
