Job summary

MCPc in Grand Rapids is seeking a Logistics Center Technician to perform shipping, receiving, inventory and general warehouse tasks while providing intermediate level customer service to internal and external customers. The role relies on intermediate to advanced knowledge of MCPc systems, and the technician acts as an escalation point and basic training contact for Logistics staff.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
Valid Driver's License with minimal points.

Responsibilities

Prepare shipments for postal or commercial conveyance and determine economical shipping method.
Select appropriate shipping container and pack items securely.
Prepare bills of lading and verify quantities/destinations against work orders.
Use scan gun to receive and pick items in shipping process.
Perform basic kitting of equipment based on customer requirements.
Conduct cycle counts within defined inventory processes.
Receive and unload inbound materials and resolve discrepancies.
