Job summary

The Logistics Center Technician at MCPc in Grand Rapids handles shipping, receiving, inventory, and related warehouse tasks while providing intermediate customer service to internal and external customers. This role relies on intermediate to advanced MCPc systems knowledge and adherence to safety and process standards.

You will perform shipping preparation, bills of lading, cycle counts, and equipment operation.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience.
Valid driver's license (less than 6 points).

Responsibilities

Prepare shipments for postal or commercial conveyance; determine the most economical shipping method.
Select appropriate shipping containers; pack items securely.
Prepare bills of lading; verify quantities, destinations, and locations.
Use scan gun to receive and pick items.
Perform basic kit assembly based on customer requirements.
Complete cycle counts within defined inventory processes.
Receive and unload inbound materials; resolve discrepancies.
Inspect shipments for damages; notify leadership of issues.
Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtain signatures.
Operate dolly, pallet jack, forklift as needed for loading/unloading.
May operate box truck or van for deliveries.
Assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area.
Maintain facility security and monitor inbound/outbound materials.
Identify and propose process improvements.
Create service documents and work instructions.
Communicate with project managers, sales teams, vendor partners, and customers.
Attend trainings and certification classes; support learners.
