Job summary

Dow has an opening for a Logistics Technician at the Bayport facility in La Porte, Texas. You will operate basic control systems, monitor process parameters, and support safe, efficient warehousing and railcar loading activities in a high‑safety environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to meet physical requirements, a valid US driver's license, and willingness to work rotating shifts including nights and holidays. Prior logistics or process tech experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to meet physical requirements for emergency response team.
• Willing to join Houston Hub Emergency Response Team.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, overtime and holidays.
• Current, valid US driver's license.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Operates basic control systems to monitor levels, temperatures, pressures and flow rates.
• Transfers products and performs equipment activation tasks.
• Maintains safe and organized warehouses and truck staging areas.
• Operates process equipment including drumming and railcar loading/offloading.
• Maintains logs, records, reports and inspection checklists.
• Troubleshoots process, product quality, safety, and environmental issues.
• Prepares equipment for maintenance and issues Safe Work Permits.
• Participates in site Emergency Response Team if required.
• Ensures safe and efficient performance of maintenance and project work.
