Job summary

Americas Styrenics LLC seeks a Logistics Technician for the Marietta, OH plant. This day-position role requires operating forklifts and track-mobile equipment, loading railcars and trucks, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

You will monitor basic control systems, perform minor railcar maintenance, and complete paperwork with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental stewardship. Candidates should have a high school diploma; a two-year degree or technical training in process operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Forklift and track-mobile operation capability required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Comfort with climbing stairs, ladders, and working at heights.
• Awareness of Tenets of Operations and Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic control systems and monitor/transfer products.
• Load finished materials into railcars, bulk trucks, and cartons.
• Troubleshoot product quality, safety, and environmental issues.
• Inspect and secure trucks and railcars with attention to detail.
• Follow procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Control and adjust all systems and manual operations as needed.
• Inspect equipment and railcars for maintenance needs.
• Perform minor maintenance on rail cars.
• Clear and tag equipment; communicate with transportation providers.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain high safety and environmental stewardship standards.
• Experience in chemical/manufacturing operations is a plus.
