Job summary

Dow is seeking a Logistics Technician at the Lone Star Operations in Deer Park, TX. You will load and unload products, manage transfers, and coordinate with engineers, maintenance and schedulers to ensure safe, efficient movement of materials.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid US driver’s license, and legal work status in the United States. You will follow EH&S procedures, work with SAP and lab/plant teams, and support continuous safety and process improvements.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current, valid US driver’s license.
• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Load products onto railcars, tanks, isotainers, and flexitanks (bladder tanks).
• Unload hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Enter Load In, Load Complete, and Shipment Complete in SAP for all shipments.
• Complete Tank transfers, switching and monitoring.
• Perform operator maintenance including instrument lead clearing, gasket changes, and line unplugging.
• Incidental maintenance (changing pumps and valves).
• Operate pumps, valves and equipment; identify and mitigate hazards.
• Obtain and process product samples for quality control.
• Train new distribution operators and participate in special projects.
