Moog is seeking a Logistics Technician I for an onsite role in Buffalo, NY. The position supports inventory, shipping, and material handling within a dynamic Space and Defense environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, with preferred stockroom experience. The successful candidate will assist with import/export, cycle counting, and coordination with shop leads, engineering, and production teams.

Onsite - Buffalo, NY

Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for a Logistics Technician I to join them. You will report to the Performance Leader and will have an onsite work schedule Monday - Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm or 12:00pm 8:30pm-in East Aurora, NY.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must have a valid drivers license
• A background in stockroom or dispatch activities is preferred.

As a Logistics Technician I, you will:

• Supporting inventory/warehouse operations including finished goods storage, demand/inventory/production planning, and cycle counting
• Assist with the movement, storage, and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools, and packaging materials
• Assist with import/export and customs management
• Support shipping/receiving operations as needed
• Executing inventory control processes and records management to achieve targeted quality, wastage, and inventory levels
• Operate various material handling/warehouse equipment, moving materials and loading/unloading trucks
• Perform various physical and transactional process-based operations supporting production, repair, development and non-production (MRO) requirements of the business. These processes include Material Delivery, Kit Pull, Material Stocking, Receiving, and Packaging.
• Develop working knowledge of several software applications including internal
• Responsible for receiving, packaging, counting, and locating parts appropriately.
• Frequent lift and bend during processing of hardware. For articles that are a heavy lift cranes and lift carts will be provided and will be utilized.
• Prioritizing daily activities in processing received hardware.
• Communicate with shop leads and repair operations to ensure daily targets are met.
• Work with engineering, quality, and customer service representatives.
• Handle emergencies and coordinate evacuations.
• Answer incoming calls and coordinate communication to all associates on the shift.

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $22.00-$25.00 Hourly
