Moog in the United States is hiring a Logistics Technician I to support inventory and warehouse operations in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY. The role reports to the Performance Leader and involves onsite work schedules with potential evening shifts and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities include inventory control, material handling, shipping/receiving, and coordination with shop leads, repair ops, engineering, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Background in stockroom or dispatch activities is preferred.

• Assist with movement, storage, and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools, and packaging materials.
• Assist with import/export and customs management.
• Support shipping/receiving operations as needed.
• Execute inventory control processes and records management to achieve targeted quality, wastage, and inventory levels.
• Operate material handling/warehouse equipment and load/unload trucks.
• Perform production, repair, development and non-production (MRO) support tasks; includes Material Delivery, Kit Pull, Material Stocking, Receiving, Packaging.

Work Schedule

Onsite – Buffalo, NY

Our team inSpace and Defense Groupis looking for a Logistics Technician I to join them. You will report to the Performance Leader and will have an onsite work schedule Monday – Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm or 12:00pm 8:30pm-in East Aurora, NY.

To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must have a valid drivers license
• A background in stockroom or dispatch activities is preferred.

As a Logistics Technician I, you will:

• Supporting inventory/warehouse operations including finished goods storage, demand/inventory/production planning, and cycle counting
• Assist with the movement, storage, and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools, and packaging materials
• Assist with import/export and customs management
• Support shipping/receiving operations as needed
• Executing inventory control processes and records management to achieve targeted quality, wastage, and inventory levels
• Operate various material handling/warehouse equipment, moving materials and loading/unloading trucks
• Perform various physical and transactional process-based operations supporting production, repair, development and non-production (MRO) requirements of the business.
  • These processes include Material Delivery, Kit Pull, Material Stocking, Receiving, and Packaging.

• Develop working knowledge of several software applications including internal

• Responsible for receiving, packaging, counting, and locating parts appropriately.

• Frequent lift and bend during processing of hardware. For articles that are a heavy lift cranes and lift carts will be provided and will be utilized.

• Prioritizing daily activities in processing received hardware.

• Communicate with shop leads and repair operations to ensure daily targets are met.

• Work with engineering, quality, and customer service representatives.

• Handle emergencies and coordinate evacuations.

• Answer incoming calls and coordinate communication to all associates on the shift.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $22.00–$25.00 Hourly
