Job summary

Joint Strategic Technologies (JST) in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a Logistics Technician to ensure 100% accountability of government assets valued at $300,000 and to maintain compliance with DoD and USAF inventory procedures. This full-time on-site role requires meticulous records and strong coordination with vendors and subcontractors.

You will manage receipts and invoices, prepare government reports, support audits, and help optimize storage capacity while adhering to contract

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma is required.
• 4–5 years of full-time inventory management experience.
• At least 2 years handling IT assets inventory.
• 2+ years in lifecycle management.
• 2+ years using database software and management tools.
• Current DoD Active SECRET clearance.
• Experience with Air Force supply systems.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to sit/stand for long periods and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain 100% accountability of government assets.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and USAF inventory procedures.
• Maintain receipts and invoices for materials and equipment.
• Prepare government-required reports weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Represent the company during audits to ensure asset accountability.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for shipping and receipt.
• Oversee warehousing controls and accountability regulations.
• Establish annual inventory procedures and access controls.
• Review procurement activities to optimize inbound/outbound projections.
• Ensure proper rotation and disposition of equipment and staging.
• Receive supplies and distribute as needed.
