DroneSense offers a drone software platform tailored for the unique needs of the public safety market. Our comprehensive solution equips First Responders with a complete tool set that expands situational awareness and acts as a force multiplier. Our mission-critical platform solves the challenges of scale and operational deployment across an entire organization, ultimately leading to more saved lives. Drones are a game-changer for the way First Responders carry out their various missions. DroneSense is here to serve as an integral part of this evolution in public safety.

Our Culture.
We are a founder-led company and our leadership team is made of experienced engineers, pilots, and entrepreneurs. Our core values are central to how we work together as a team, solve problems for our customers and make decisions. We are looking for people who see problems as opportunities, have a growth mindset, and are willing to challenge the status quo. Our team is focused on helping our customers by making their jobs easier through technology. We do this through creative problem solving and rolling up our sleeves to get the job done together. We are trying to build a diverse team and value what each individual brings to the team. We want our team members to have fun, be themselves and feel a sense of belonging at DroneSense.

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Logistics Technician to own the flow of physical products from receiving through fulfillment. In this role, you’ll manage daily packing and shipping of swag and hardware orders for customers, employees, and partners. You’ll collaborate with domestic and international vendors to ensure timely availability, accurate pricing, and efficient lead times for all inventory.

You’ll also be deeply involved in our third-party hardware vendor process — from understanding the technical aspects of each component to quality-checking drone hardware. Your work will ensure our kits are complete, our systems are organized, and our products ship out on time and in top shape.

Responsibilities
  • Daily packing and shipping of swag and hardware orders (customers, employees, referrals, etc.)
  • Understand how all components in inventory work together in the final drone product
  • Perform quality control (QC) checks on production items
  • Receive, inventory, and maintain all incoming stock
  • Own the process of uploading and kitting DroneSense inventory for fulfillment
  • Ability to perform minor technical repairs

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or production operations
  • Familiarity with drone hardware or technical assemblies is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Able to lift, move, and pack items safely and efficiently
  • Comfortable working with vendors and navigating supply chain logistics
  • Proactive, process-minded, and a strong communicator
  • Active Part 107 license preferred
  • DroneSense employees must be full-time US citizens who are current residents in one of the 50 contiguous United States. Though our positions are 'remote', we do not work with offshore/near shore individuals or contractors to stay in compliance with our client's requirements.

Benefits
  • Competitive Base Pay
  • Stock Options
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision, including a medical plan with 100% employee covered premium
  • Company paid Life Insurance, Short & Long Term Disability
  • Medical FSA & Dependent Care Account
  • 401(k)
  • Work from Home
  • Paid Flexible Time Off
  • Paid Sick Time
  • Part 107 Pilot Training & License Paid
