Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago is seeking a Manager Logistics Projects & Technology to own end-to-end capital project execution for NA Logistics. This role manages budgets, drives new initiatives, and partners with cross-functional teams including IT and 3PLs to deliver value across warehouses.

You will lead automation and technology initiatives, develop roadmaps, and act as a subject matter expert on equipment and warehouse systems (WMS, LMS, YMS). Travel is expected 10-30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5-10+ years in logistics, supply chain, operations, or manufacturing.
• Experience with automation and digital technology.
• Strong project and program management with KPI focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept to close using proven PM methodologies.
• Develop project scope and budget; drive capital approval with stakeholders.
• Coordinate construction, startups, and supplier/contractor communication.
• Lead automation and technology agenda with expertise in digitization and new development.
• Serve as SME for equipment, WMS/LMS/YMS, and automation systems.
• Build vendor partnerships and explore new tech platforms and processes.
