Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years logistics experience required.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Senior Team Leader with training of new team members on established procedures and verifying knowledge and performance of standardized work.
• Assist in coordinating with the production team to ensure all items needed for shipment are prepared and ready to ship.
• Execute operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping warehouse inventory
• Expedite high priority requisitions
• Examine items to be moved, determine weights, configurations and characteristics to determine the type and method of material handling/delivery.
• Ensure compliance with import and export regulations
• Access databases and input data with high accuracy
• Comply with safety and corporate guidelines
• Uphold 5S within the department
• Communicate issues within the department to the Senior Team Lead
• Strictly enforce company policies and procedures
• Assist and support team members in logistics processes as needed
• Assist in decision making and solving conflicts when the Senior Team Leader is not available
• Other duties as assigned

Duties & Responsibilities
