Job summary

STG Logistics, a premier provider of managed port-to-door services, is seeking a Tax Accountant to support tax accounting and compliance across federal, state, and local requirements in our Kentucky region. 3+ years of tax or relevant experience.

Attention to detail and accuracy in tax filings and reporting.
Effective relationship building and communication with team members.

Responsibilities

Prepare and file quarterly IFTA, HUT, and Mileage Tax reports.
Assist payroll tax compliance with payroll manager.
Maintain tax calendars and deadlines for compliance.
Research changes in tax laws, rates, and regulations for accurate filings.
Respond to IRS and state/local payroll notices and coordinate resolution with tax agencies.
Prepare and submit P&I abatement requests with documentation and tax research.
Assist with tax audits and provide supporting documentation.
