Job summary

City of Lincoln in Durham, NC is seeking a Tech Logistics Support Technician to provide on-site logistics support at the North America Hub in North Carolina. The role requires handling daily logistics tasks and supporting all hub functions.

Responsibilities include bundling assets, processing hardware reclaims, using UPS WorldShip, tracking shipments, entering updates in ServiceNow, and maintaining inventory. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ relevant experience in Logistics (Shipping/Receiving) and Inventory Control.
• Experience with ITAD and fulfilling hardware requests through a ticketing program (ServiceNow, Remedy).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willing to train the right person with a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Bundle assets and consumables for shipment to end users.
• Process/Ship Hardware Reclaims to US and Canada.
• Use UPS WorldShip to ship assets and generate ERLs.
• Track shipments and resolve delays with carriers.
• Work in ServiceNow to create requests and update tasks.
• Assist in disposal of obsolete equipment and ITAD salvage shipments.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and packing materials.
• Verify/update receiving spreadsheets for shipments of new PCs.
• Check logistics equipment for proper operation.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth SLA delivery.
