Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a logistics-focused professional to join its DoD deliveries team. The role supports contract activities, processes, and the handling of government shipping documents in a stringent government context.

You will log, track, and coordinate shipments using ASRC’s warehouse management system, follow detailed procedures, and communicate clearly by email, phone, and Teams to keep orders moving.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• 0-2 Years of experience in a related or applicable field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with the MS Office Suite.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Able to multitask and stay organized with all orders in various stages of processing.
• Prior government contract work a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and coordinate contract activities for the processing of DoD deliveries.
• Log, track and download military shipping labels and transportation documentation using the government’s web-based system.
• Follow detailed procedures to obtain shipping instructions for material with special requirements (hazardous, perishable).
• Complete online forms to obtain required shipping information.
• Process transactions in ASRC’s warehouse management system.
• Coordinate with others to align work and resolve similar issues.
• Communicate via email, phone and Microsoft Teams as needed.
• Interpret system generated error messages and take corrective action.
• Notify management when problems arise and propose solutions.
• Attend conference calls as required.
